Nominal Roll

This Roll records men who served with, or were attached to, the Australian Mining Corps and/or served with the 1st, 2nd or 3rd Australian Tunnelling Companies or the Australian Electrical & Mechanical Mining & Boring Company and the men of the 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th Tunnelling Companies formed in Australia to reinforce the Companies already on the Western Front.

The Roll has been constructed by Donna Baldey from the AWM Nominal and Embarkation Rolls, newspaper articles of the time, and other sources. The Roll is not complete.

No judgement is made on quality or period of service with the Mining Corps.

Where able, we have written, or received from supporters, profiles of the individual men. Photos originating from the AWM are so marked and high resolution copies are available from that source. Other photos originate from relatives and supporters, and we thank them for sharing them with us.

We welcome submissions from descendants and supporters for inclusion on this site through our email address : tunnellers@bigpond.com
